School geography aims to help students develop an understanding of the environment as the home of people.
Geography has an integrative approach, which means that students will develop a broad understanding of how places are made and changed, and will develop a balanced view of, and respect for their environment.
The course provides opportunity for individual achievement and the development of a range of skills relevant to a variety of different career opportunities.

Assessment will be compiled of internal assessment and an external examination.
Internal assessments will occur periodically through the year, the external examination will be held in Term 4.
