Subject Description

Through Drama, students at all levels have the opportunity to extend their skills and knowledge in a range of situations and settings.
Participating in Drama develops personal and social confidence as well as supporting literacy skills. It is a way of developing an understanding of society whilst acquiring strong communication, performance, and performance related skills, many of which are sought after in the workplace.
Students will extend their knowledge of the techniques, elements and conventions of Drama. Experiences will include social speaking, mime, theatre sport and devised work.
